Dave Harris is the owner of Dave J. Harris, LLC, based in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence and Master of Management from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. Dave is also a Certified Professional Coach.

Dave has executive experience at two Japanese conglomerates, Murata Machinery and Itochu Corporation. He also has extensive leadership development experience with large organizations like the USPS. Dave has served on numerous economic development boards and formed strategic alliances in numerous countries including Japan, China, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia.

He has over 30 years of experience in higher education, having served in various leadership and faculty positions. Dave earned the Masters Teaching Excellence Award at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business and received both the University Teaching and Research Award at the University of Central Oklahoma. He is currently volunteering at the University of Washington Department of Sociology to offer an annual career seminar to teach students how to build outstanding professional networks and obtain the skills and knowledge employers seek.
